History
After taking over a long-established company for locksmithery and staircase construction, Managing Director Dirk Häusgen founded the company DHM in Niederzier, which initially worked for the national sister company Dirk Häusgen Musterhaus Zentrum. Dirk Häusgen named the company DHM for Dirk Häusgen Metallbau in Niederzier, which is why it was known for many years as "DHM-Niederzier".

Over the years, in addition to metal construction, steel, plant and mechanical engineering have also developed more and more. As a result, the workshop had to be enlarged and today's company was built in Düren. As a logical step, the suffix "Niederzier" was replaced by the addition "Competence in Steel", which also conveys our current goals to the outside world.

Scope of commissioned work
The production range extends from large steel construction projects for industry, trade and public clients through the production and assembly of functional steel construction elements to manufacturing production for mechanical and plant engineering.
